Marble Grandstand privacy policy
Marble Grandstand is a marble racing game for the Mac. This policy describes exactly what it does with data.
On your Mac
- Marble names, saved rosters, race results, records and settings are stored in the app's own folder on your Mac. Deleting the app deletes them.
- When you choose Save picture on a results screen, the picture is saved to Pictures, Marble Grandstand.
- A roster CSV file is read or written only when you pick it in the system file dialog.
- Viewers you block are remembered on your Mac, by Twitch user ID and display name, until you unblock them.
Twitch, if you connect it
- Connecting Twitch signs you in on twitch.tv. The game receives an access token for your account and keeps it in your Mac's Keychain; Sign out in the Twitch chat panel deletes it.
- While connected, the game reads the chat of your own channel to add viewers who type
!joinor!play. It never posts in chat. - Viewers' display names become marble names on your Mac. Nothing from Twitch is sent to Lanternbench.
- If you choose Report on a viewer, the game opens an email to Lanternbench with that viewer's Twitch user ID and display name. Nothing is sent unless you send that email.
- Your Twitch account is covered by Twitch's privacy notice.
What Marble Grandstand does not do
- It contains no analytics, telemetry, advertising or tracking.
- It has no Lanternbench account and sends nothing to Lanternbench.
- It connects to the internet only to reach Twitch, and only after you connect it.
- It does not sell, share or transfer any data.
Changes
If a future version changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the effective date will change.
